DESCRIPTION
AirMail is a GUI based internet mailer for receiving and sending emails.
AirMail is fully Intuitionized unlike other mailers that required hours of
installation and many external programs. AirMail includes the following
unique features:
- Address Book - maintain users and groups
- In and Out mail boxes
- Speeches
- Support external editors
- File attachment. Include any file with the mail
- Automatic uuencode/uudecode using any uu program
- Mail queuing. You can use Air Mail as an offline reader/sender
- Timer interval mail retrieval
- Tag line
- Public Screen support
- Font sensitive
- Arexx port
- Password security
- Mail Appending
- Mail Maintenances
- Multiple preferences for multiple email accounts
- Easy user interface using icons and menus
- All GUI based and NO Shell commands
Best of all Air Mail is NOT a port. It is totally Amiganized.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
AirMail requires the following.
- AmiTCP 4.0 or greater or MLink
- SLIP/PPP connection and account
- Provider must support POP3/SMTP/ESMTP
- Any Amiga with Workbench 2 or higher
- 1 Meg minmium, recommended 2 Megs of RAM with AmiTCP/IP loaded
- Optional UU program for uudecode/uuencode mail if you want to send
files.
